Quality Timber
I only use the best quality timber, usually redwood, pine, or native oak. Wherever possible, I prefer to use raw and reclaimed materials, as timber cut from slow-grown redwoods have far more character than modern fast-grown spruces. I handpick all reclaimed materials from local sources.
Whether new or reclaimed, timber can be subject to shrinkage or expansion, depending on the environment in which it is placed. I consider this while designing all products, making furniture that ages well over time. What’s more, all finishing products used are pet friendly and non-toxic.

To ensure that every commissioned piece is designed to your taste, I always start with an initial consultation, preferably face-to-face, either at your home where I can measure up for your project or at my workshop. We will also agree on a cost, dependent on your individual requirements, and a project timescale, with most commissions taking aprox three to four weeks to complete. I take pride in maintaining excellent communication with all customers and will provide any updates as and when required throughout the process.
Craftsmanship
One of my priorities is to continue with traditional craftsmanship. Fully experienced and qualified in bespoke joinery, I am ideally placed to create stunning high-end furniture to suit all your needs. I complete all work to the highest possible standard, using the best materials and the most effective techniques from traditional carpentry to provide a long-lasting piece, tailored for you and your home.
With extensive experience and all of the relevant qualifications, I am capable of creating simply stunning furniture. Two of my main priorities are providing a personal service and crafting products that meet my exceedingly high standards. I use the finest materials to ensure a long-lasting piece, and use the most effective, proven techniques when crafting the furniture.
Upon delivery, please note that any solid timber furniture may be subject to shrinkage or expansion depending on your home environment and steel table bases and legs may have some scratches and marks upon delivery. This is normal and will lend the piece more character as it ages.

When placing an order, please be aware that all work requires a non-refundable 50% deposit of the agreed price.
I also offer free delivery on all commissions and orders over £150, within a 20-mile radius of Whitworth.
